the client

the niagara falls family pride event is an inclusive event and safe space for individuals and families who are looking for resources, entertainment, and speakers from the lgbtq+ community.


the goals

  • launch + promote a new event during covid
  • build awareness around the event while ensuring that it remains a safe space
  • promote online event attendance responses


my role

  • logo design
  • setting up digital marketing channels (ie. social media pages, event page, etc.)
  • ad campaign management
  • social media strategy and management


the outcome

the key performance indicators for this project were:

  • online event responses doubled in the second year of this event with the implementation of an ad campaign recommended by me
  • in-person attendance tripled during the second year of the event
  • nominal community engagement on social media before, during, and post-event
  • new community organization partnerships formed

education foundation of niagara

the client

the education foundation of niagara is a non-profit that serves over 38,000 students in the district school board of niagara. they provide support through bursaries, programs, and financial aid.


the goals

  • maximize on a national campaign: giving tuesday
  • create a strategic content plan to engage community and spread awareness of campaign


my role

  • campaign research
  • content plan development
  • content creation/graphic design
  • social media strategy and management


the outcome

the key performance indicators for this project were:

  • in our second year working together on these campaigns, our organic reach doubled with the help of creative collaborations
  • large anonymous donation of $25,000
  • online community engagement on campaign-specific social media posts

IT STARTS WITH AN INITIAL AUDIT OR ENVIRONMENTAL SCAN OF THE SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT(S) AND THEN TARGETING THEIR ONLINE DEMOGRAPHICS. I THEN CREATE A CONTENT PLAN WITH MAIN PILLARS AND THEN IT'S OFF WITH MY EXPERTISE AND STRONG UNDERSTANDING OF BRANDING AND DESIGN TO CREATE THESE BEAUTIFULLY BRANDED FEEDS THAT EDUCATE, PROMOTE, AND ENGAGE THE ONLINE COMMUNITY.
